I wanted to purchase a patchwork sofa but needed it to match my recently decorated lounge. Thought i was going to have a challenge on my hands but not so with james and rose. Not only was i able to chose the colours and fabrics but also the exact size i wanted (they will virtually make any size you want) the result is spectacular. We bought the four seater Empire in ebony with silver feet and studs and its just gorgeous! its really comfy sits perfectly in our living room and only took around 3 weeks to arrive. Having travelled up from South Wales to meet with Tony from James and Rose (a 4 hour trip!!) he quickly put us at ease with first a look at his sofa designs in his own home and then his workshop. He was extremely courteous and patient as we discussed our ideas and finally with his gentle help we came up with a Sofa design we love.

Once our order was taken We were regularly updated via e mail as to the status of our order. A week before Christmas our order was delivered. We were contacted the day before to confirm the time of our delivery.

Our sofas were expertly delivered and fitted in the new Conservatory with no problems or dramas so please pass on our thanks to your delivery team. The quality and workmanship is second to none and We are more than delighted by our new furniture and look forward to many years use.

Highest quality materials and build to the highest standards but our sofas are truly magnificent and will surely outlive the both of us! We are so pleased that we went for a bespoke build rather than buying off-the-shelf, because now we have sofas which are on the same scale as our drawing room, in the exact colour to complement our other furniture. We have just received our custom made Chesterfield (Albert in Rimini). The changes we requested to the standard model have made it possible for us to have the sofa we would never have found in large retail outlets. Our sofa is slightly higher than the standard with a higher back rest. The finished piece is stunning. We are thrilled with then quality and craftsmanship. We found James and Rose on EBay and were thrilled to find out they were based in Preston (10 miles from where we live). I phoned Tony in the afternoon and went to visit him at his Worksop about two hours later. Tony showed us several pieces he had made for his own home and let us sits on them to test the comfort and quality. We were really impressed. We opted for a dark brown leather 5 seat and a 2 seat cuddle chair & ottoman in Stone crushed velvet with matching cushions. With an almost modern & soft twist on the original style Chesterfield this combo looks fantastic in our living room. The build quality is second to none and we are convinced our new sofa will outlive us (we are only in our 30s!) All this at a very reasonable price we cant recommend James & Rose and Tony enough. We spotted James & Rose on the internet and instantly fell in love with the design and look of their Chesterfields. We took the 2hr+ drive to Tonys house to sit on them and check for comfort, there really was no need! They are super comfy with a high enough back giving great support. One thing I love when lying down you dont sink and roll into it like most sofas but it keeps you nice and straight, fantastic! We opted for dark brown leather 5 seat and a 2 seat cuddle chair & ottoman in Stone crushed velvet. All this at a very reasonable price we cant recommend James & Rose and Tony enough. We ordered two sofas and a chair from the empire range, and have had them a week now. They are absolutely fabulous, the quality is excellent, and we are over the moon with them.
